I like the ridiculousness, reminds me of Warhammer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N0jaxb94Fc&ab_channel=AdultSwim

No animal indeed unless it's mentally insane. Perhaps a virus or a bacteria instead >>212444438
Bacteriophage viruses are also natural and have been here since the dawn of time, quite the structural perfection. The perfect organism and a survivor. Bacteria & Viruses make us whales look like chumps and delusional richfags waiting to be eaten by them.
>Huh? They're almost unkillable. The flamethrower only pisses it off, it can survive easily in the vacuum of space, and not even the ship thruster at the end of Alien killed it. The only thing that can hurt it are pulse rifles, which are insanely high-caliber. Practically 40k bolters
Xenomorphs are like big tardigrades. "Seemingly" impossible to kill if left on their own in various environment but simply squashing them is enough. There's also a species of worm or eel that constantly regenerates from the smallest biomass if you cut it.

Xenos in their primitive forms just like most secluded introverted killers are always weak in organized wars full of artillery, vehicles, logistics. People compare them against war-ready Tyranids/Zergs that completely whip the floor with the xenos.
Here you'd like to take a page out of the warframes from Warframe and even they didn't do so well with the war. Albeit the warframes would stand more of a chance against the guards in Blame! than the primitive xenos that can barely withstand an unarmed Predator.
