from the asteroid beta, pretty obviously a space themed update, presumably they wanted to make a jungle inferno style update where they made some parts and the community made some parts but because tf2 was(/is) lagging behind cs and dota in moneymaking they had to scratch that and make the tfgo skins update instead and just gave the community their invasion update
