The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Game Boy.
It's sort of infamous because of it being more open than the previous title, ditching the linear sidescrolling beat 'em up level structure for a lite Metroid one instead, however the very 1st area is the most cryptic and I got stuck like most people did... I decided to read the manual and guess what? A picture that shows exactly what you need to do to progress, which is to shoot webbing on Hobgoblin's glider and websling on it, bringing it down and making him fight you on the ground. It's a clever title.
