He's only ten years older than me. I was a little kid when it was on and he was already in high school. As a white family we always watched Cosby. They operated like a white family. There wasn't any cultural divide to overcome. The Cosby Show was on in most living rooms in the 80s. Probably why you don't see a lot of racist shit towards old Malcolm. They spoke like us, they lived in a nice house like us, they had corny little family problems like us. I'm glad they still air it on cable.
