This really is the best word to describe Undertale, and honestly it's a pretty underrated "feel" for a game, if you will.

Pic related has moments like that, and it's such a breath of fresh air. This thread is starting to make me think that "silliness" and "sincerity" might actually be in the same vein.

If you've played it and you enjoyed it or felt inspired by it, then I think the dev did a great thing. I've been playing pic related lately and fucking love this game, but I can definitely see how it would have limited appeal.

It's a really inspiring creation for those of us who appreciate it.
