Scouting is like hacked Pokemon on GTS trades; it's not the system's fault this is happening, it's selfish dickholes who take advantage of the system. I will not be mad at cts over scouting when I should more properly attribute that to the players for ruining a good thing.
Also this proves Global/Online events are king. Works fine there! Why can't we have more that offer serious points towards Worlds instead of shitty events run by trannies, powered by switch docks that may get unplugged or tripped and quit your match because they never implimented reconnection protocols, and where you have to drive 6 hours or hop on a plane to get to? I haven't had a PC in a 3 hour radius of me since Sun/Moon, and unlike these nepo babies I can't afford to take weekends off, fly out across the country and get a hotel in a big metropolitan area alone just to go 5-3 (round 1 loss too).
I realize I'm hopping from issue to issue but Christ alive does it sometimes suck to be a Pokemon VGC player. Despite official mechanics constantly dicking Smogon 6v6 singles playstyle they at least never have this problem because, in general, Showdown is more optimal and fun to play than genuine cart.
