Recognize that there might not really be a middle ground for some things, not a soft way to say "I love you". The cards advice you to make the choice only when you are ready. I suppose I wasn't too far off? Maybe change frustration for embarrassment, but the idea seems the same. They aren't heartbroken or anything like that it seems. I can always be wrong, of course.

There's definitely LOTS of potential here. I'd say the challenge will be to get recognition, maybe from higher ups or costumers if you deal with those - but - the best way to deal with it is being a team player. Do favors and you'll get favors in return, socialize. That and this could be a lifelong career. If nothing else you'll learn how to make lots of money from this.
