If AI is so revolutionary, why are the people who built it getting replaced by it - proving they massively overhyped something that's just glorified automation hitting everyone, including themselves.
AI is just basic automation finally catching up to white-collar work after decades of hitting blue-collar jobs.
It's more good than bad in the end, social media accidentally revealed that huge chunks of the modern economy are just elaborate make-work schemes where people get paid to look busy rather than create actual value, and now AI is threatening to automate away this charade. which is good for everyone.
