The md5 of this meme I made during the Ever Crisis beta used to makes (one of) the sales shitposter(s) here very upset for some reason. I wonder if he's made peace with it yet. We used to not care about sales at all, but I can see from the recent posts in this thread that we now care very very much about sales once again. We once again care more about a game's sales than the game itself, even though I was told that this was never the case.
I think we can all rejoice in the fact that it seems apparent that we will never get official Square Enix sales figures for Rebirth. Instead, at this point, it seems much more likely that any subsequent sales updates we get will be for the total sales of the Remake Trilogy as a whole and that we may never receive any sales data for Rebirth itself.
