its the easiest for sure, but still very much a great and fun experience. dont play the ugly ass remake though. it looks and runs great on emulators

i prefer dark souls 1 because of its open interconnected world design which still has not been explored in another game, and it was the peak of the experimental online features out of all their games. it was also my first, but played DeS right afterwards on my ps3. I dont like comparing which one is better or worse as they are both extremely good in their own way, but also come with their own unique shortcomings. Dark Souls 1 feels a little bit more refined, though, but DeS is not far behind for me and I prefer many things about it like the soundtrack and art direction (slightly).
