Wayland is hot garbage. Why on earth would you want it? With Xlibre coming, X11 will continue getting better. Wayalnd will never catch up.

What do you guys think of XLibre project? Basically, one of the developers who worked on Xorg for many many years decided to fork it because the RedHat/IBM wanted it to be gone so they were blocking all the patches. This lone dev took all the patches and created a new fork with it.
Personally, I'm not a fan of Wayland because it gets into my way every time I use it. Even simple stuff like text expansion and universal keyboard shortcuts is next to impossible.
Anyway, I don't understand why these bigtech corporations are trying to kill Xorg and why the talk about XLibre is banned on almost every tech platform (Plebbit, HN etc).
What's going on? Will you use XLibre?
