If I had to guess why Girl Next Door causes such an intense negative response, is because it's way too upbeat of a song that forcefully overwrites whatever is currently playing just for Noelle to say "Hi Susie! Hi Kris" and then leave.
It's like if non-sense small talk that only nudges the plot along had a theme song. And I LIKE Noelle a whole lot but I find this song a bit out of place in most cases.
