so far theres no real hint that Meroron lost anything via the wish. she got away easy, and her keeping Purirun like an Alzheimer victim and raiding Tanaka's home are just despicable acts.
Meroron really doesnt deserve any sympathy.
One COULD argue Meroron is doing this to ensure they dont lose the powers they gained from the wish (from what we know about the lock, its easy to think it can be THAT evil. and if Purirun recovers her memories, the power is lost), but so far Meroron is not really giving a crap about that.
tldr: Meroron's a bitch and Tanaka should sue her for literally humping his home,
