Why would a sequel ever be in discussion? Star Wars Outlaws sold horribly. At no point would a sequel ever be thought of. And lets be blunt Disney killed that franchise long before Ubisoft got a chance to make a game for it.
And the real question is WHY is Ubisoft this TRASH developer still alive? It seems like you can keep making expensive media and products with the quality of excrement and somehow you still don't go bankrupt. The money never runs out. Fuck man I miss the days when bad companies you know DIED!!!! Look at Hudson the creators of Bomberman, they failed at life and logically died. Their HQs were closed down and everything they do NOT exist anymore. Don't bother saying "Konami ate them" no no no. You know what I mean Hudson is dead.
This is what I want for Ubisoft.

Yes it has to be this. The employees have no talent. And then when the franchises start having disappointing sales like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth the executives stick a finger in their nose and say "Gee what went wrong? Oh well lets not fire the hacks making our products."
I swear Square Enix deserves to die. Call it whatever but I've learned to appreciate Konami's cruelty towards employees within their company. Auteurs and game designers need to always be kept on a leash strangling their necks. They need to be treated like this. They need to always be on thin ice and they must never be allowed to think they are untouchable. Kojima thought himself a Hollywood Celebrity at Konami and we all saw how that turned out. Konami got rid of him. Now if only Square Enix would find their nerve and treat many of these old hacks the same way as Konami.
You either produce quality products that will sell or there's no more job for you much less a future within the company. And what angers me so much about Toriyama, Nomura, Nojima, Kitase, etc is these bastards have glorious life experience they should understand the basics of making successful products. But they don't, they simply never learned anything while workign the game industry.
