Spellcasting speed does not scale as well as %, it's far worse for most incantations as it rarely meaningfully increases your casts between boss attacks, you don't get perfect uptime
FP cost reduction is an almost completely dead line by level 12 or so
Also spell speed does not even affect some of the most powerful incantations meaningfully
