>charls essentially ruined his life due to a nonchalant attitude towards everything. essentially imprisoned by his own choice
The character meets an officer who offers him a gamble to get out but costs him more time
>chuck meets sam who promises him a better path but ends up wasting more of his time
The character gets out and has to deal with his actions now an old man and no longer able to not care while Cop Killer plays in the background.
>charls realizes that not only did he fuck his life up from his initial choices in life, but he took a gamble on sam who proved to be fruitless in the end which makes him hate sam to where he wishes he was dead THE FUCKING NERD
Erick is the only person who seems normal and not wrapped around Sam's finger.

Nick is a drunkie, junkie who seems to be barely holding on for the sake of his kids. Wouldn't be surprised if his wife divorced him the second the kids weren't in the home any longer.
