I am mad because people are calling it trails and I am not getting anything trials like. The story does not contain slow, slice of life events where the characters slowly disentangle pain points for catharsis. there is not a focus in even 30 chapters of doing mundane errands or chores and meeting various people with their own storylines. nobody is collecting recipes or talking about the food they are sharing lately. even CS, the game everyone rips on for losing the spirit of trails, contains all of those. the only thing that the story WANTS to focus on in 30 chapters is the paradise subplot and Sylvia save scumming with a gun through a bunch of combats. its literally making me mad because its false advertising not just because the combat is unfair boring BS so far.
