These peoples core taste in entertainmemt, withou fail, revolves around things like Resident Evil, Dark Souls, Last of Us, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Castlevania, Metroid, superheros, WWE, etc
You could make Dark Souls cel shaded and colorful like Wind Waker, and conversely make Wind Waker grey and brown like Dark Souls and theyre opinions of the games would flip overnight.
