I feel bad for Evenepoel. Realistically, third place in the TdF is the highest he can aim for. And if he fails that, he'll be heavily criticized. He's now the best time trialist in the world, but appears to have become even less of a climber than he was. He has no team to speak of. It seems destined to become one big disappointment.
