Mark my words, the switch to Shinedust from Trade Tokens is going to be so much worse.
The original trade token system was designed in a way where they basically limited the amount you can trade and a pace they chose. Yes, you can technically trash cards to get more, but that was so inefficient that you were better off just waiting.
Now? You can pay to trade. And the costs are gonna be so nuts that the only people who can trade at reasonable paces are those with premium accounts.

I just gave up on Gyarados after it took me until Saturday just to find Azumarill. Leave it to Niantic/Scopely to fuck people over by running raid-related collection challenges, alongside the best non-mega fighting-type available in tier 5 raids, during reduced raid spawns.
