I like Higurashi more than Umineko but I do like Lambda the most in her game and didn't really think we needed a direct connection between Higurashi and Umineko. It could have just been left to one's imagination how Bernkastel and Lambdadelta came to be especially since the connection now established is retarded and written like shit.

I forget does Gou/Sotsu tie Lambdadelta at all to Takano at all or is it all just Satoko. Her name in Umineko is obviously a reference to 34 and she's even voiced the same as child Takano with a similar hairstyle to boot even though her color palette is obviously more Satoko like.
