There's a follow-up tweet that all but confirms it. It's sad knowing that we will never get official UTY content again.
To be completely honest, I think the creators wanted to be done with UTY for a while. The tweet was a way of finally making it official.
And I say this as someone who's been following this game since the day it came out (and even earlier actually, for a brief time after the demo).
I just think it's sad/disappointing when you care more about a game than the developers who made it.
Because it's like the devs never really interact with the community outside of acknowledging it on holidays (besides AeroArtwork I guess).
That's the way I've felt for a long time. And if the devs really want to move on, then that's okay.
I think the community will still be around anyways.
