> Requesting Draconis Don Quixote when you have the time
The Newest inclusion to the roster: their leader is the head of a powerful Industrial Zaibatsu that… was an avid reader of old Japanese literature and history (especially pertaining to samurai and Shogun) and in his later years, may have become a bit eccentric. Arming is corporate security with various mechs and CV (all manufactured in-house, of course) and proclaimed himself a Warlord while piloting a Hatamoto-chi of his own (at least 2 corporations he owns has defense contracts to produce them for the DCMS) and running around the Combine, battling its enemies and basically acting like an actual DCMS warlord. Of course existing outside of the DCMS command structure (because let’s not forget this man is a civilian with too much money and free time), is a problem and does result in occasional dust-ups with the actual DCMS, though it’s much rarer than one might think. Despite being functionally a mercenary group in the eyes of some, he insists that his loyalty to the Coordinator is absolute and will follow the commands of Kurita to his death. Though the idea that anyone from House Kurita is in contact with this eccentric trillionaire is laughable, or possibly disgusting as it might imply some sicko is impersonating the Coordinator to take advantage of the man’s delicate mental state for their own ends. Still, it’s rather unusual that the DCMS isn’t trying harder to reign the man in, or how frequently he does actually show up when reinforcements are needed… well a broken clock is right at least twice a day, right?

> Bulldog Medium Tank
You know what? It’s not a bad way to sneak another LL onto the field. Plus the 2 SRM4s are also a nice bit of crit-seeking follow-up.
> Crusader CRD-5M
Just a superb Crud variant, well-Sinked, good spread of weapon types, very maneuverable thanks to the jump jets, the AMS is a nice bit of protection, and adding CASE to its left side (where all the ammo is) was an absolute necessity for Cruds. It’s just a nice mech.
> Griffin GRF-3M
Like the CRD-5M, the GRF-3M basically fixes everything that made me want to write off the Griffin, fixed the heating issue so it can fire both the PPC and LRM together without overheating, and gave it a small laser so it isn’t completely SOL if something gets too close. But also went the extra mile to give it a BIGGER LRM launcher and replaced the PPC with an ERPPC that doesn’t have a minimum range, making it even nastier at close range. I like this Griff.
> Galleon GAL-102
Speedy little harasser tank, very good at being very obnoxious
> Javelin JVN-10N
Eh, it just came off as a very “ehh” mech
