Not to sound like a schizo/doomer, but I increasingly suspect that Trump's presidency is going to end in civil war. Either he'll be emboldened into pushing his luck too far and trigger a leftist chimpout or he'll get himself impeached/Section IV'd and his supporters will chimp out instead.

Alternatively, his rule will result in the collapse of American democracy from either his successful subversion of it or the Democrats using him as an excuse to dismantle it themselves the moment he leaves office.
