I wish I could see the faces of the last True Roman generals during the years of 300-400
Standing there and watching tattooed up long haired gauls march around an Italian parade square alongside bent backed Syrians with their paltry middle eastern beards, and the blackest Nubian Africans dressed up in ramshackle in what was once the resplendent armor of the particians
All pretending as though they were of the same type of conquering legionaries that once proudly bestrode the world

I wonder if the average American general has the same type of view that they do
