Maybe it's because this is the first time in many years where there has been a game where I've been enjoying as much as Starfield, but having no announcement at all feels different than just "disappointing". I know they didn't technically say they were announcing anything at the Xbox showcase or that they'd even announce anything "soon", but its been so long that the best guess was this showcase. Yes, we got the QoL update and Kinggath along with many other modders have been keeping Starfield alive and doing great things with the game. I just really thought this was going to be the "right time" for a Bethesda Games update to Starfield.
