Wire's first couple episodes and entire last season sucked. Rome got cancelled and has a weak second season. Mad Men isn't as bad as some anons point out but it's just not in the same level as other great dramas, doesn't have a conclusion at all and even if the slow burn pace works at the start, it eventually gets tiresome in the later seasons. Lost was great during the first seasons, the others were so awful that damaged the previous ones during rewatch.
