>>212663787 (OP) The Wire, Rome, The Sopranos, Mad Men, and Lost are on the same tier. One tier below are Banshee, The Shield, Twin Peaks, Babylon 5, The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, and Golden Age Star Trek. Below that is Breaking Bad.
>>212663825 Wire's first couple episodes and entire last season sucked. Rome got cancelled and has a weak second season. Mad Men isn't as bad as some anons point out but it's just not in the same level as other great dramas, doesn't have a conclusion at all and even if the slow burn pace works at the start, it eventually gets tiresome in the later seasons. Lost was great during the first seasons, the others were so awful that damaged the previous ones during rewatch.
>1. Sopranos Be honest for one fucking second, you NPCs. Youve never watched the show. Just watched YouTube videos about how good it is and want to feel apart of the circlejerk because you're born slaves.
>>212664477 Smallville is the only truly great Superman show/movie made in the last 30-40 years. I actually like MoS but prefer Smallville as the definitive Superman live-action media.

>>212664554 Not since the donner films has anybody been able to realise superman is inherently silly and lean into it with full sincerity. This new movie is too afraid to have the earnest sovl of smallville

>>212665109 it was a dogshit show and the ending was horrible. people kept saying how it was better than breaking bad, it's not even the same type of show.
>>212665080 Only season 1 of Community is good, that season finale was iconic. Maybe episode 1 of season 2 is a good followup but they drop everything right after.
>>212665169 Yeah so? Script isn't amazing or anything but it's a great manly rule of cool for all its duration. >>212665363 I've noticed many Trek fans love Buffy too, anyway based list anon.

>>212665359 Disagree. While I personally consider season 1 to be peak, s2 isn't that far off but the constant movie homage episodes instead of classes start to get annoying. S3 post hiatus was when it went full retard. S4 was a mess with possibly one the worst season finales in the history of television. But still streets ahead of s5. S6 was surprisingly good and I liked the bittersweet ending.
>>212665906 I watched the first season only and I found it to be alright. Is just that feels already a bit dated for its time. I prefer Shลgun for example.
