I think I'm figuring it out...
You really do need to face punch them and focus on that rather than their monsters.

The field is way too swingy.
Your turn you wipe out all of theirs their turn they wipe out all of yours.
And it just keeps going back and forth until one person finally wins.

Is there ever a point to use your other 2 subfiefs.
