the fact that management is full of people who LOVE to be surrounded by yes men means that AI is lightning in a bottle for the firms making it. It allows them to feel like they're exerting more control over the company while the AI sucks them off at the same time. It's a disaster waiting to happen. It's winning their minds because it kisses so much ass. It'll take some massive managerial fuckups for this to recede at all and it still probably won't. The amount of people who are "forming relationships" with their LLMS is shocking.
People are suggestible and the narcissists in management are predictably vulnerable to flattery. It's going to get a lot worse
