I've gone the current game twice now and I still don't get how having shadow crystals = freedom, do they make you stronger and they're equating having power to being free? If that's what they're actually for, then what would they assemble into? A mirror that manifests your vessel in Kris' refection that you'll be forced into so Kris can be free of (You)? I guess we'll just have to wait until Seam actually assembles it to know for sure, but they don't make much sense as of now.
