AoS does have some fun tidbits, my go-tos are the skaven that tunneled through the floor of the ocean in the realm of death and flooded Skavenblight literally and metaphorically with an eternal zombie problem(while a Gray Seer watched the whole thing and laughed his head off), or the fact that every now and again Malekith kicks down his mother's temple doors, calls her a whore, and immediately leaves.
But there is nothing compelling, and I personally just like snake ladies. I haven't played a single game of the new edition, since TOW has been consuming all my bandwidth for fantasy.
