but my boomer parents actually believe they had it harder when buying a house. they tried to explain to me that rates were higher and they got paid less. they unironically believed this. I thought they were joking at first.

Why do boomers feel the need to act like this? I am in my 30s and I can at least admit zoomers are fucked and have it 10 times harder than I do
