I have no clue why they didn't make manufacturing move into space or onto some low gravity planet that would have cheaper launches or something. Space platforms are cool but they are actually just big space trains. I hoped that space science was just the first of many 'stations' I was going to build when in reality it was the first and last.

I got tired of running out of ammo when parked so I hooked up my turrets to only turn on when the ship moves. The asteroids that bump into the ship barely seem to do anything while it's parked. Put up walls just to be extra safe and brought an extra stack of repair packs.
