I think I added too much black ink to my first wash and I'll try and keep it at 20 drops of black ink to ideally get pic related's effect and not worry about getting an actual black wash. I have to try and get out some extra colours.
Maybe the acrylic secret was already there and I just messed up the recipe by adding too many ink drops.

Visited WIP.
They had some discussion about DIY washes and the black wash looks amazing there.
Makes me regret painting what little guardsmen I have and I plan to try and make some diy black wash that stains little and shades recesses and raised details a lot.
