Kek, that's actually a brilliant way to describe it yes. As fucked up and morally wrong as this is, the fact that you are now aware of it places you ahead of the many guys who are sadly clueless of it.
Just never ever bother asking a woman directly about this kind of thing, you'll be lied to, they won't respect you for asking and think it's weak on your part. You have to find it out in other ways really. If you were 'courting' a woman say and you found this out, just ghost them entirely because to try and talk about it will just suck you into the bullshit-machine where you'll come out feeling like you're the one having to explain yourself.

I'll give you two examples:

Met a girl at a work conference, fucked her the same night, in the leadup to it she was talking about her "ex", how hard things are, etc. We're on the couch, eyes lock, lips mode, fuck.
Find out in very short order she does actually have a bf, but I say anything I'm fucked too. Conference ends we never speak again, good ending I guess.

Was introduced to a girl by another girl, I found out later she wanted me via the first girl that introduced us. I'm thinking about something more serious and she seems smart and pretty with no immediate red flags, plus I'm already friends with her friends.
After a few meetings (I'm "courting" her at this stage I suppose) I find out she's got this "fuck buddy", yeah, gross, glad I found out early and not after a long time, but it's yuck. Don't message me all the time and ask me how my day is and all that shit when you're fucking somebody else, message that guy. I just stopped talking to her entirely.

These days I only give a shit about a girl if they fall into my lap and even then they will find a way to fuck it up. A while back a girl I was friends with invited me over because her friend thought I was hot, we hit it off and that was nice.
She's some quirk chungus type, nerdy but not wise. Because she's young and attractive she wants to fuck around and like the 3rd time I see her pitches me on some kind of "ethical nonmonogamy" bullshit and I tell her I don't really think we can see each other and even then, she tries to give me the runaround telling me about it. Oh and she's fucking other guy(s) the entire time I know that much. In fact she went for me, while pissed off at one of these other guys.

What a fucking embarrassment, women that are just whores can usually admit they like to fuck and that's that. Seeing somebody going to a good school and they're trying to justify this shit like they're gaming the romantic system or something, they're cooked. You know when some crypto guy is asking you to give your life savings to his shitcoin that went nowhere? That's what it felt like.
