Buddy, being a Sorcerer is better than being a mundane human but way,way overestimate it.
If you are at nearly peak of Alchemy after decades of research, you get the ability to get up to Dot 3 abilities of other splats, if you research it, if you get materials related to the splat in question, if you successfully brew it. For a scene. With downsides the stronger the power in question is.

Being a sorcerer is cool when you are surrounded by normies. It sucks when you have to deal with Mages, Vampires and Werewolves. And that's for Master Sorcerers. Most Sorcerers are nowhere near a Master Sorcerer either, they mostly know a bit about a lot of different Paths or worse, spent years or decades managing to learn the bare basics.

Fucking Arcanum, which is essentially the world's leading place for Sorcerer not affiliated with Mages, literally says "However, even the smallest of magical effects may take years of study and hours of application, and the acquisition of such skill is often seen as pointless"
It's even worse for those who have no backing, even of Arcanum.
