It's a mixed bag. Some sections are excellent, others are awful. Worth remembering that some maps have you exploring like for like real locations.

Why does that matter? It's literally one of the mechanics of the abyss, plus it's where you get loot from as well. Doing levels is also a change of pace to the bosses.
