While I still think KoG would have been better for Rodya, I like the way they solidify her character with her desire to be something special.
I thought it wouldn't be satisfying if it was just about her realising she isn't anything special and that's it, since in the end this is still about fighting, but she restricts herself by relying too much on outside powers and destiny.
