True, the fandom was a bit autistic, but it got to a very rough point post 2013 when troons and feminists started hijacking it. It didn't help that sega does everything in their power to appeal to only women, so, I can't blame guys of every age just ignoring the IP or abandoning it.

I find it interesting how I grew to love amy on my adult age compared to before when I was a kid since I just thought of her as the "girl" of the cast and nothing more.
