Season 1 is world building and cute, season 2 leans a bit more into the sports part of it, but from there it only gets more and more crazy and shounen-tier with effects. Nothing is really a sequel in terms of the story since it focuses on a different set of characters each time. The New Era movie goes fucking insane on the effects and quality of visuals to where it feels as if they grabbed Studio Trigger into the mix and told them to go crazy with infinite budget.

they all unlock their main outfit when you get their 3rd star, which means gacha dupes, and you can change in options so they will only use their outfit in G1 races and the others have the gym clothes
