Maybe it's just me but I feel like all these horse girls are at different levels of autism
could even say they almost cover whole spectrum
>>713967064They're started from only a couple or so years old to be racers and it's very easy for them to have crippling injuries they'll never recover from, at least not in a racing sense. In Japan the sentiment might be different but elsewhere they're more or less thrown away once not being race worthy anymore, which can mean slaughtered, glued, or hopefully sold to someone who just wants them to peacefully retire
>>713967334Yes, horses are kinda scary. 1 ton of power ready to slam their hooves into your head, horses are amazing, powerful industrious beasts that lead us into revolution that changed the world, but boy are they scary. >>713967617There are still the fairly 'normal' uma girls, like Gold City, Mejiro Palmer, Win Variation, etc. who deal with various types of insecurity
Then you have Dream Journey who can be literally malicious, acting like a mafia boss behind the nice midget facade.

>>713968429y-yeah and who would want that..? ha.. ha...
>>713967979>especially if you have to do anything medical with themTheir anatomy fucks them a dozen different ways when it comes to recovering from anything serious. Their thin bones flex before breaking, so they rarely set straight if you can manage to cast them. While healing, their hooves get fucked up from the pressure of four feet suddenly spread across only three, and they can't lay down for long periods without getting pressure sores or their lungs filling with fluid. Like any large animal they take anesthesia incredibly poorly, and like any prey animal stress fucks up their digestion, which tends to make healing even more difficult. If they do heal, it tends to fuck up their other limbs so those are going to cause problems in the next few years anyways.
I wonder, does the game recognize and show a different animation if you do some impossible shit like winning the last G1 with Haru Urara?
>>713966673https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW7kX7P8f2Y
>>713968429Dogs can control and contain themselves around their masters having been subjective to thousands of years of conditioning, horses however, don't have that same level of loyalty and submissiveness as dogs do around humans in their heat, so a horse in heat is far, far more dangerous than even the largest dog breed ever could be.
>>713968613Fucking Christ. How did horses ever survive as wild animals if they're such sensitive pussies? Down with horses, they are a disgrace.
>>713968618No different animation, but there are secret events you can unlock by doing optional challenge like that, including winning Arima as Urara.
>>713968613This is why we need to switch to dog racing instead, they heal better.
>>713958812Anon it's just fantasy.
Considering the amount of anatomical logic we've thrown out the window with the existence of horse girls, is being able to satisfy such a colossal girl not also just as much of a fantasy that can be handwaved as the existence of big horse girls not going full national socialism against humans in a semi-realistic world due to their superior strenght, endurance and stamina?
>>713968613Yep. Wonderful animals but holy shit does their very nature counter them. My parents have a mare who gave birth but the kid had a fucked up hoof on one leg which needed all sorts of stuff done to it. Took a long time but he came out really well afterwards
>>713968747They're rarely forced to run at their peak speed in large groups repeatedly, the way they are in human races.

Every character has their own unique secret events, some are as simple as winning all their story mandated races, others require you to do optionals (you have to pay attention to what's said in the story, if tama says oguri is in JC and JC isn't on the roster you have to register for it yourself) and some are winning the "unwinnable" races like urara's arima kinen

>>713971553>>713971496So are humans and the overwhelming majority of living being on this earth but horses have more muscles strenght comparatively don't they?
So they are arguably a bit less fragile than humans.
>>713968613This is why cow girls are superior. Cows are tough.
>>713971480Her glasses are sexy
>>713971496Eh not quite. They have physiological issues that humans exacerbate by putting them through routines they weren't ever built for, but if a horse kicks you- You're more likely than not done for. By contrast, kick the horse and it'll be annoyed but ultimately unbothered. They're generally not all that hostile though so it's a non-issue most of the time.
How do I get good at horse? I'm stuck at about C+ for multiple horses.
>>713968613The horse anus is a marvel of evolutionary biology.
Like most mammals, rhythmic contractions of the bowels move the feces up to the end of the gut to be expelled.
What sets the horse anus apart is the bafflingly complex autonomic contractive motion of 4 muscular rings which function like sphinctoral guillotine. As the feces is squeezed out, the rings expand and the outermost ring is retracted into an interior skinfold resembling the human foreskin, leaving an interstital tissue fold to open air.
The two inner rings then contract, and push apart, severing the horse feces cleanly, allowing to drop free as the outer ring folds back through the interstital flap, creating a intrinsic wiping motion with the fourth ring as it contracts back into the horses rectum.
This advanced biological mechanism is so effective that many industrial companies have copied Nature's design for self- cleaning viscus liquid dispensers housed within complex machinery.

>>713972247You think you could take a kick from a horse better than another horse? I'm sorry to say anon, but your body has a far lower threshold for immediate physical abuse. What your body is good for is enduring long term strains, which has benefited from improvements in medical science that's made past problems like infections far less likely to just up and kill you. Though I'm not sure why you're fixated on this anyway. Biological superiority means nothing in the era of technology. Humans have created guns and fighter jets, everything else is inferior by virtue of being too dumb to make up for it's failures with complex tool usage.
>>713969546so like football players
>>713972485Are you retarded? I'm just pointing out basic facts about the animal. Read this and then kill yourself.
https://drferox.tumblr.com/post/160329465456/hi-doc-love-reading-your-blog-i-found-you-first
>>713969628NTA but in a believable world, such a stark difference in intelligent species would spawn extremist groups on both ends. A very vocal horse group would definitely become elitist first then outright racist because of their superior strength. Humans would likewise garner a similar and very vocal group due to being the underdogs and fearing for their safety.
In a horse world, even if they magically don't want to exterminate or dominate humans, they could pose a serious threat to humans unintentionally. A horse girl (like a kid) could try to hug a human and they could forever lose a limb from that. Each horse girl is a ticking time bomb, like a driver on a highway, just a few lapses in attention can cause a fatality by "bumping" (ie. running over) a human.
Now let's put alcohol into the mix and you essentially have drunk driving without cars.
The show also jokes a lot about trainer-san getting hit and kicked by the girls but realistically he'd die in the opening episode after Special Week kicks him even if she didn't wish to kill him outright.
A horse girl you court and get to bed could easily kill you unintentionally even without BDSM stuff. You'd have to be on top all the time or a bad movement from her would crush everything below waist level. Especially if you somehow bring her to orgasm. A kinky horse girl trying to restrain you for fun could end with broken arms easily in a mistake.
Now let's move unto the deliberate part.
Horses could feel to be superior and rightfully so. How many horses are in the world? Could they overthrow a government? What if they decide to do academia instead of running? Will they develop tools and weapons of war only horses can use? Carry massive cannons and fire them single-handedly? Outrunning even armored vehicles? Then decide that humans are inferior and should be enslaved or killed?
Wait.... are horses purposefully conditioned into their love of running in Uma because they'd easily dominate the world?

This argument is dumb because humans already beat horses into submission and domesticated them. We already won.
>person you're following just keep requesting the bakushin song on jukebox
>>713973171>Sounds way too much of a hand-wave thing to me. Which is perfectly fine, I just dislike it.It's not a hand wave it's probably that this is the after life for race horses created by the goddesses so the horses can run and be with humans as both equals and horses.
Reminder there are no male horses. Therefore all Umas are born from human females. Therefore humans wouldn't want to hurt humans
>>713973174Horses don't have opposable thumbs. In fact horses don't have fingers at all so their development is limited but a fictional horse that does have fingers opens up a lot of evolutional possibilities.

>>713974673Different world. The spirit of the horses comes to this other world that then becomes embodied as an uma musume. The history of this world isn't fully known.
>>713973171>But what if that's just decades of precise conditioning? It's actually occult bullshit from the horse spirits that make them
>>713972772And despite what other people have said it's absolutely true that there are umamusume who are not interested in racing, this isn't even periphery side stuff but straight up in the main story content. The tracen students are the absolute elite and for every one character in the game there's a hundred or thousand that tried and failed at racing or never even tried. Hell just watch Cinderella Gray and look at how Oguri is the single representative for that entire region. And even for the ones at tracen there are examples like Hishimiracle who only enrolled because she thought it'd be good for her resume and doesn't actually want to race at all.
>Each horse girl is a ticking time bomb, like a driver on a highway, just a few lapses in attention can cause a fatality by "bumping" (ie. running over) a human. They established that Japan has horse-only lanes on roads which makes on wonder what happened to cause the need for that, or how many accidents there were before they were introduced.

holy fuck this is more bullshit then getting perma stuck in traffic during the race
>>713974836>>713974673It's actually speculated that the physical location of tracen academy (most of the locations seen in the game/shows can be easily identified but the location of the academy is unclear) might be the big park in Fuchu made from what used to be a US based in the post-WW2 occupation, because there was no WW2 in this world.

>which makes on wonder what happened to cause the need for that, or how many accidents there were before they were introducedRight? Rules often come after a high-profile disaster. Putting aside how bike lanes in our world are also not the only lane where you see cyclists and how one could reasonably expect that many horses just run where ever they want, maybe act like assholes and run on the middle of a road or on public transport rails, even then it's not the only place where you'll see a horse commuting in a hurry.
Unless there's would be some sort of authority enforcing that horses can only commute on the designated horse lanes, which begs even more questions than I started with.

>>713978349i mostly train speed and stamina, and then wit when the failure rate for the other two is high. i take skills, but i guess some of them might be contradicting each other idk. i didnt realize that was a thing. my support cards are not good, but rerolling feels lame
>>713978513look at
>>713978473each horse has an aptitude rank for track, distance and strategy.
being below A basically gives you a stat debuff for those courses/strategy(don't know how it's affected by each but apparently running a strategy she doesn't have the aptitude for severely nerfs intelligence, the debuffs for not matching track or distance are a lot more severe though).
the goals of each uma are mostly tailored to her aptitude so they aren't forced to run out of their comfort zone( emphasis "mostly").
aptitude can be influenced by the parents and grandparents if they have the sparks for it if you wanna do weird stuff like run bakushin on long.
So, do you need a 3rd party account on Steam or can I play without having to make one?
>>713978797I'm playing without any other account, but you will need one if you want to link it to your phone.

Senkou - Speed > power > guts
Sashi - Speed = power > guts
Oikomi - Power > speed > guts

Power: Acceleration and ability to muscle through other horses (too low and you're easily blocked)
Stamina: Needed to maintain speed (run out and your speed drops drastically)
Guts: Lets you maintain speed for a bit when you run out of stamina, more importantly is the determining factor if you're tied for speed
Int: Skill activation rate and helps with the horse running in the right course (helps prevent blocking and needed to activate certain skills in addition to plain activation rate)

>global after 4 years(banners might become a mess depending on the speed they want to drop them)>game is too japanese for westoid tastes(most people still think this is an idol franchise)>not a casual gacha(these threads get plenty of posts from anons dropping it/can't get into it because of the time spent just on the dailies)on the other hand
>cygays published it themselves(they might not pull the plug too soon even if it flops)
Does anyone have that friend trainer with a 4* Fine Motion support?
>>713986253Inbreeding is common for horse?
>>713985836I didn't even think about that, you gacha experts are so forward thinking. What are the odds of that even happening, right? Haha
>>713986016In Arknights the horses are mostly known for ungodly endurance and leaps more than speed.

Is there any mechanic for F2P player to uncap their support card or is it from gacha only?

what do pace runners like tachyon want to focus on?
>>713971808humans take injuries way better than horses. horses can die just from accidentally overeating or laying down too long or a host of other issues. we also have skeletal evidence that even 10,000 years ago humans were regularly getting serious injuries and broken bones and shit and healing from it before dying. if a horse breaks a leg even now you basically have to put it down
compared to animals like humans and dogs horses are incredibly fragile and need a lot more maintenance
>>713989469This initially gave the vibe that she was going to murder her before the conversation goes on.
>>713989826I had a relative who was into horses and took them to competition growing up. She gave up after high school because of all of the issues. I remember her talking about how it does wear on jockey teams and owners when a horse has a be retired or gets out down. Financially and otherwise
feels like end closers and late surgers wastes too much stat points to be decent
even with 700+ power and mobility skills you still get blocked by crowds
>>713990749yeah my dad's a veterinarian and loves horses since they really are great animals but their health issues are such a constant concern it's a huge commitment owning a horse in a way most other domesticated animals just aren't.
>>713991225Thing with frontrunners is that they just always stay at fhe front and therefore never need to bother with power bullshit. Or endless stamina as long as they got a little wit to trigger those potent stamina skills.
The additional RNG in form of potential race blocks truly makes the life of those late/closers more difficult. It's why people say that Bakushin is easy mode.
INT/WIT is my greatest ally.
>>713991674Wit only exists to make sure your skills trigger. All you did was throwing away stats that could have actually made her better.
That said: Sometimes its hard to avoid Wit overleveling with people trying their best to not waste a turn by resting
>>713991225>>713991604Have you tried not being retarded and telling your horse to run closer to the front when there are too many people in the way?

>>713992386or even better to just tell them to always run in front regardless
very smart
>>713993019It depends entirely on your horse and their innate bonuses to stat gain.
