Been working around 20 years in software development, and I've yet to see a single woman that I didn't absolutely hate working with. Managers are not-even-once tier. "Peers" are either completely useless or have a little skill and are insufferable and insecure pseuds -- I've yet to see ONE woman who is just a solid team member who minds their own business.
They have this fucking compulsion to try and exert pointless and overbearing rules over everyfuckingthing, and when given any power they assume managing = treat people like they would their own children.

I learned years ago to decline any job with woman manager, and to just resign if a woman becomes manager at a current one. It's a policy that's served me extremely well, and something I encourage everyone to abide by.
