From above I think the legs would look nice in a bright color with a bland gray/brown stone and sand base.

Not sure of the yellow or orange I might use. I want to avoid looking like a common spider toy though. So menacing marks on the abdomen might be fun. I may just cut up a sponge and make a stamp with a pattern cut into the tape around the sponge. To make it super easy to put marks on the all-exactly-sized abdomens.

Had to thin down the mix with more acetone, I got the ratio way off. Now I need to do two layers per model but thats fine.
