You use infiltrate not to get closer but to be able to place them last in good places to peak out. you always want to be careful against fast melee armies you have two options, hold way back and deny them a charge against any of your infiltrators, while covering firing lanes. Eldar soldier models basically never look good because they just look like regular imperial guard humans in proportions and movement. Proportions are completely fucking wrong fro the race. Don't even get started on Dark Eldar models where they often have fucking 6 pack pot bellies.
Eldar models frankly, should look more like infinity mini's in the proportions of them, they also rarely have a sense of speed to them. I know people don't like Artel W's interpretations of Banshees (no idea why, official banshees look absolute dogshit like all Eldar aspects bar warp spiders), but his posing of them is 1000x better than anything GW have ever put out in terms of capturing the grace and speed of Eldar.

Darkmech don't really have a central dogma.

I think a big change is that when I started I was very lazy about cleaning up spills, especially when laying down the blue basecoats. "I'll just cover it later its fine" but then when I'd apply the runelord brass the spills would be noticeable.
Now because Im faster in other areas of painting (all the details like the armor shine or lightning or general highlighting are much less timeconsuming) I can take my time more on the initial basecoating aspects.

I really like this new ravenguard nigga. I'm trying to build a thematic list but what the fuck is a "stealth" army supposed to look like? everyone says eradicators are goated but I think that's sweats only. They never perform well when I run them, so I say stick the gravis cap with 6 aggressors in the redeemer.
Assault ints underperform for me as well, but I don't have much practice moving them around.
Infernus are very good, but my opponents focus them down.
Terminators kinda suck, I don't think giving them a leader is worth at all.
My best performing unit has been a gladiator lancer, my infantry rushes in and dies while the tank usually gets to shoot all game.
Ballistus is nice too, but less consistent

Last game I tried impulsor with 5 infernus in it and that was surprisingly good. 12+d6 movement with an invuln and firing deck is pretty good.
Sternguard tend to kill more than I expect, but they still die quickly.

Okay here we go; the terminators will be useless. Get more eradicators instead. I run 12. Gladiators do just as well, I just prefer erads.
Gravis captain is useless for eradicators and currently overcosted. Aggressors are hilariously squishy with how common D3 is now and will die horribly. Replace the grav cap with company heroes for Vulkan to join. Replace the aggressors with another impulsor for carting around your infernus marines who you should split into five man squads.

You have the transport arrangement backwards because of how the game works. Adrax+ BGV, and ideally a lieutenant with the enhancement that lets them ignore modifiers go in the land raider. You use it to stage for a charge or deliver one outright. Your erads should jog along behind it so that in the fight phase you can hop in for a command point and do a transport shuffle.

Vulkan starts on foot and uses free assault to spot for his ability. If he starts the game in a transport his objective buff ability turn off because he isn’t on the battlefield. He can do it from reserves though for some fucking reason, as long as he’s not in a a transport in reserves.

What I don't like about GWs current release schedule is that by the time anything comes out you aren't as interested anymore

To tell the truth it feels more like finding out later that the Lego sets you saw in the catalogues were better than you remembered then you check and realize they are not sold by Lego anymore or you couldn't buy it because you were younger back then and now have the money and it is gone replaced by something else. That was me and Lego Rock Raiders.

Moved to the UK and I was shocked by how ugly fucking women are here. Generally, there is a massive "inbred" look to a lot of Brits, terrible jawlines is a massive leads to giant noses and big ears and all sorts of weird horse faced looks.

I hope to god this book actually stays canon and isn't immediately overwritten by GW trying to make Tau "actually evil Grimdark".
Tau being the result of just very strong ideological upbringing and conditioning, propaganda and ingrained caste loyalty is so much better than the "uhh Pheromones " bullshit. I like how the Ethereals are presented more like super charismatic celebrities like think how 80s MJ fans feel about Michael Jackson (https://youtu.be/jl-LykdDi7I?si=8wPUuzGclsuWN0fA&t=117) with the charisma of Tom Cruise, George Clooney and Obama rolled into one. It's also interesting how Ethereals are also ""Trapped"" by the caste system. Say you are an Ethereal and you wanted to be a painter? Well go fuck yourself.
Of course GW can't stand actually good, incredibly well thought out lore, so I doubt this book's positions are going to last long.

As much as I love to blame GW for everything, it's really not their fault that Warhammer fans can't understand subtle writing. When half the fanbase still thinks the Imperium are good guys, I don't blame gdubs for thinking they needed to make the Tau more overtly evil to sell more figures (the lore is supplementary after all.)
I think the most annoying part is that watering down the lore hasn't even done anything to save their reputation. Now instead of hating the Tau for being "too nice", people just misrepresent and parade around any instance of them doing anything bad. You pretty much can't talk about the Tau online without some retard chiming in with something about sterilization, reeducation camps, and of course mind control. Hell, the sterilization thing only comes from an offhanded mention in the Deathwatch core rules and was almost immediately retconned, but people still believe it's hard canon and that every human in the empire is walking around with ED.
