If you're not a successful screenwriter your opinion means jackshit. Anyone can write script that never gets accepted but still claim to be a screenwriter. Also what's wrong with pulp? Pulp is the lifeblood of Sci fi and fantasy shows as well as movies. Without pulp we would have nothing except gay melodramas, "realistic" psychological thrillers, and historical films.
