>fast forward to endgame, the master is the main badguy
>he's apparently the leader of the alien race invading the world and turning it into something I forget
>you fight him on this giant paradise world that's a space ship and he explains that you are both of the alien race
>not only that but you are his other half seperated at birth and that only one of you can life
>the last fight is you fighting him and if you do everything right you both die
>but you merge
>once you do both of you become what you weree supposed to be and the Main character can finally speak and is now independent of you
