Actual KCD and KCD2 fan here. KCD was incredible even with all the bugs and FPS drops in Rattay. One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Got so hooked I played for 17 hours straight at one point something I hadn't done with any game since I was a teenager. KCD2 is very good BUT the game falls off after the first area. I had mad fun the first 40ish hours but the 2nd area feels kind of empty. The game also suffers from a lack of immersion imo the first game people would call out to Henry by name "Henry's come to see us!" and things of that nature. KCD2 this doesn't happen at all. The lack of churches being able to be entered I understand from a design perspective they didn't have time to do everything and they're doing a big Monastery DLC which I expect to be very detailed but it still makes the game less enjoyable to explore. Also as someone who bought the game on Xbox Series S the game still looks very good but the weather effects are fucking abysmal. Why does the rain still look weird and clippy months after release? It's on par with a PS2 game. Bizarre oversight
