I've dated an ambitious career woman before. We basically could only see each other on her time because she was so busy. I didn't mind, but she eventually broke up with me because she wanted someone with "the same ambition and productivity as her".
I accepted it wasn't a good match, but I asked her in earnest, "if you find that person, when are you going to have time to see each other? Who will stay home and take care of the children? Because I guarantee any guy at the level you're looking for is not going to do it." She could not answer.
