asgore is the one on the phone with kris, carol is a red herring
>asgore clearly went out of his way to not have his presence in the house be known, no way he could've not noticed the presence of 3 other people in the house, does not even attempt to fix the power until susie gets the guitar, literally no reason to not immediately check what's going on instead of standing around in the dark
>kris "stares super intensely at the bathroom" according to susie when you check it, clearly knows asgore is in there
>deltarune.com/rain establishes that carol has an aversion to rain for some reason, even cancels school because of it, it's plausible that carol coming home early was a complete coincidence because she knew it was going to rain
>carol's anger at susie having the guitar can be explained by her being overprotective, like with her keeping anything valuable at home, dess' room being the exact same as before, nobody being allowed inside, keeping decorations noelle gave her to take to work at home for some reason
>carol calls you in the weird route ending instead of the mystery caller
the only thing i can't explain is why carol was acting like a creepy bitch at the door, i'm inclined to think she's just an awkward person who just acts like a fucking weirdo due to dess issues, but it's also possible she's in on it with kris and asgore, i just don't think she's the one on the phone
